The Hunger for Extraordinary
Once upon a time, we were all ‘internal practitioners’. Then it happened. Founder Bob Kelleher jumped out of bed one morning, took a quick shower, brushed his teeth, tendered his resignation from corporate america, and announced to the world, “Hey, I’m going to help build the coolest organizational development firm in the world? One that will be extraordinary, dynamic, fun, fast paced, entrepreneurial, and innovative”. But where to start? Well, I need to first write a book (or three) outlining my experiences shaping organizational cultures – lessons that validated my belief that engaging employees DRIVES BUSINESS RESULTS. Second, I need to share this message with audiences around the globe via conference and company keynotes. Third, I need to hire some super-star employees to help organizations move from potential to performance. Fourth, we need to partner with hungry and willing clients, and provide them extraordinary service – because providing extraordinary client service is the one thing that rocks us more than engagement.
Fast forward a few years……what have we become? A team of dedicated employee engagement crusaders spending our waking hours researching, writing, creating, speaking, training, and developing incredible client relationships and products. We have become THE engagement gurus (heck, we even own the domain name), written three acclaimed books, produced some of the world’s most watched You Tube engagement videos, and in a few short years, built a global brand. We also own a product and workshop inventory that is second to none (if we do say so ourselves), servicing a client list that is world class.
