Tammy Jordan
Senior Consultant
As a Senior Consultant for The Employee Engagement Group, Tammy brings over 20 years of experience in the organization development, leadership development, training, and coaching fields to her clients. The majority of her clients represent the hospitality, property management, health care and manufacturing industries. Tammy works with clients on a variety of employee engagement needs and topics and enjoys getting to know a client’s unique company culture in order to apply best-fit solutions and practices.
Prior to joining The Employee Engagement Group, Tammy’s professional career included positions in the nonprofit, public and private sectors. Her most recently held positions included Director of Employee Development for a hospitality company and Director of Development and Strategic Planning for a home health care organization, where she was voted Manager of the Year. In addition to her consulting, training and coaching work, Tammy enjoys researching and writing about women’s leadership topics. Her most recent large-scale research project examined gender differences in Core Self Evaluations.
Tammy is a passionate volunteer. She has served on multiple boards of directors and co-founded a nonprofit, Community Vine. She particularly enjoys volunteering her time to organizations that empower girls and women.
Tammy holds a Bachelors Degree in Sociology with a concentration in Human Relations and Work from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH and a Masters Degree in Organizational Development and Leadership from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Tammy has extensive experience in multiple assessments, is certified in DiSC and specializes in the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI).
Like many professional women, Tammy is a passionate advocate of home and work integration. In her spare time, she loves activities that foster her creative energy. She loves to cook and garden as meditative/mindful techniques and enjoy doodling, painting and writing. Tammy is a life-long resident of New Hampshire and currently resides in Hudson with her husband, Tom and dog, Lucille.
