Social Media Gets Strategic

By EEngagement

The October edition of HR Magazine (shrm.org) shares “Social Media Gets Strategic”. Consider the following:

  • MIT Sloan Management & Deloitte LLP surveyed 3,500 business executives. 52% reported that social technologies are important to their business
  • 65% ranked “acquiring and retaining employees” with social media important

However companies are realizing that these social media tools can be used for engaging employees, collaboration and ultimately contributing to business improvements.

So at this point of the Blog, why wouldn’t you attend our DISRUPT: Recruitment and Employment Branding in the Social Era Workshop with Engagement & Social media experts, Bob Kelleher and Kris Dunn.

When: November 14, 2012

Where: Waltham, MA (30 minutes outside of Boston)
