Questions to Ask if You Are Engaged At Work

By EEngagement

Monster.com lists 11 warning signs that your career has stalled, some  signs include:

  • You are not invited to important discussions or meetings that you attended previously
  • Your responsibilities have not changed in a few years
  • You dread going to work in the morning

Steps to Take Include:

  • Have an honest discussion with your manager: Learn how you can progress your career within your organization and how you can be more strategic, effective and efficient.
  • Take Initiative: Consider on the job training, volunteer to start or contribute to a blog, and present a solution to an on-going issue
  • Adjust your Attitude:  Negativity is a career killer.  Sometimes the best decision is to leave your current position.  Look for other opportunities within your organization, or update your resume and research other positions.
