Nissan Showcases the Results of an Energy-Wise Corporate Culture

Nissan has successfully created a work culture that embraces energy efficiency.  Nissan contributes their on-going culture efforts by:

  • Corporate Sponsorship: Corporate leaders are true environmental champions
  • Strong Partnerships: Nissan works closely with government agencies, regional organizations and non profit groups that support energy efficiency
  • Constant Emphasis: Nissan created cross-functional teams to empower all employees, at every level to take responsibility and suggest new ways to become more energy efficient
  • Recognition: Nissan recognizes and acknowledges their employees’ efforts to arrive at news ways to improve energy sustainability, and that goes beyond the workplace.  Employees are involved with their communities as well.
  • Communication: Nissan practices a Top-Down and Bottom-up approach to promote and support their energy conscience culture.  Nissan leverages multiple communication channels, including TV, radio, newsletters, websites, email and company wide messaging.
