Is Gen Y Changing the Workplace?

According to Stan Smith, Director of Next Generation Initiatives at Deloitte, “The scales have tipped in favour of young knowledge workers when creating a sellers’ talent market.”  It is a fact: Gen Y will replace Baby Boomers in the workplace and introduce different values, strengths, differences and desires for an ideal workplace.  They place family first and want to work for an organization that mirrors their personal values.  They are tech savy, place an emphasis on social media and thrive with a flexible work schedule.
