Employee Engagement/Training Specialist (Full Time)
(or perhaps call yourself “Chief Online Developer Officer” for self-esteem purposes!)
The Employee Engagement Group is a small team of engagement geeks who design, develop, deliver, and launch various HR-OD related workshops, assessments, training products, and summits. We work in an entrepreneurial/small office environment which allows talented individuals to grow and learn in a flexible culture. This latest opportunity came from the idea of one of our junior wizards who said “hey, we’re known all over the world, why aren’t we selling our products in Asia, Europe, Australia, and Bora Bora?” (OK, that last one is a stretch, but it would cool to go there).
Summary of Position:
- Participate in all aspects of our employee engagement offerings, including training, organizational development, and the development and delivery of content.
- Workshop facilitation and project management related responsibilities.
- Design, develop, and manage the launch of our new online employee engagement certification course – early marketing efforts say this could be BIG!!!
- Develop and manage an online version of our signature 10 Steps of Employee Engagement Supervisory Training Program.
- Review existing courses and materials to ensure content remains relevant and up-to-date.
Specifications:
- Minimum 3 years of organizational development, Training, or HR experience.
- Ideal candidate has some baseline understanding of online instructional design and delivery.
- The ideal person does not mind doing other things that ‘need to get done’ (heck, we’re small – we ARE the IT departments, we ARE the travel department, we ARE the admin support)
- High attention to detail as our clients expect perfection.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (but if you have a bunch of additional degrees, that is cool too because we like smart people)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (dah!).
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines (think circus juggler)
- Ability to work independently (the boss travels a lot)
- Baseline understanding of Articulate (preferably) or related platform (i.e. Adobe Captivate); Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Can work in a small entrepreneurial culture and have fun (no, really – this is super important at TEEG)
We offer an incredible journey, a variety of work, potential for equity, unmatched professional growth, and an opportunity to partner with the recognized global thought leader on Employee Engagement (heck, we even own the domain!). We are looking for optimists, self-starters and people who embody our values: Fun, Performance, Passion, Purpose, and Creativity.
