Engaging for Performance

Employee performance is typically evaluated in the annual review process, which has proven to be a dreaded process for both those who write the reviews and those who receive them. If the goal of the review process is to improve individual performance, it often misses the mark! Research shows that employee engagement greatly increases individual performance, and that managers are one of the key drivers of employee engagement (or disengagement!).
Participants will learn:
- The different intrinsic motivators that drive employees and how to provide more of these in the workplace
- How to start engaging the whole person (both work and life) for increased engagement
- Why it’s important and how to continually evaluate performance and provide regular, actionable feedback
- How to create a comfortable environment for challenging conversations
- An overview of the latest trends in performance management
Who should attend?
- Anyone who manages people!
- HR Managers and Directors
- Individual Contributors who want to increase their own engagement
