  • Folly: Leaders believe that social media has little or no business value
  • Fearful: Leaders believe that social media is a threat to productivity, compliance and almost everything else
  • Flippant: Leaders may not ignore social media, but they do not take it seriously
  • Formulating: Leaders have a positive belief in social media, but want to have a strategic direction
  • Forging: Leaders are encouraging their organization to embrace social media and develop competency
  • Fusing: This is the best case scenario-leaders believe that social media is integral to their organization’s success and collaboration
