This month’s client newsletter offers special tips on hiring engaged employees, and highlights an exciting new leadership workshop.
I’m also pleased to introduce a new free service of The Employee Engagement Group. Each month, our website will feature updated employee engagement statistics, research, articles, and  best practices from the leading global Human Capital firms and publications.  No longer will you have to search the web  – we will comb the web for you to bring you the latest on employee engagement.
Upcoming Leadership Workshop:
Are your managers successfully engaging your employees to deliver results?

If not, consider attending The Premier Leadership Workshop for These Times“Engaging Employees To Drive Results” ,  which I will facilitate along with Chuck Mollor from MCG Partners on December 8th and 9th at the Babson Executive Education Center in Wellesley, MA.

The Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA), the Northeast chapter of SHRM,  will be sponsoring the event which has been approved for 12.0 credits towards PHR and SPHR recertification through the Human Certification Institute.

Two groups in particular would greatly benefit from attending:

People who Lead People
If you have any line managers who are struggling with getting the most out of their employees, I believe this workshop is a must.  Participants will walk away with practical best practices to engage their employees – practices that will deliver results.  Each participant will develop his/her own Leadership Change Plan outlining specific leadership changes they will commit to when “they get back to the office”.   They can even participate in a leadership 360 review (optional at no additional cost), which will allow participants to focus on developmental areas and strengths.

HR and OD staff
A wonderful opportunity for your HR and or OD team to spend two days learning about tools that work and picking up some great best practices, while also actively participating in effective metaphorical experiential exercises to reinforce learning.  As we climb out of our recession, leaders will soon be asking  ”How are we going to engage our employees and leaders?” This workshop will be a significant first step in your HR team’s plan to help!

Register Now

I hope to see you and / or members of your team at Babson on December 8th-9th.  And please call me directly if you have any questions.  Feel free to forward this information to others who could also benefit!
